Its been a while since I blogged, school holidays and quilts made by designers who would rather I not add pics to my blog mean slim pickings sometimes.
Anyway, this beauty went home earlier this month and it is a design by Kookaburra Cottage Quilts called Christmas Cards #148 (in the BOM section of the website if you're interested!).
It is quilted freehand, in the centre of the quilt and I used 2 different fills behind the appliques in the blocks.
The sashings and outside borders were done on the statler using Anne Bright designs interspersed with some freehand swirls around the stars.
I can't remember what I was listening to while quilting this, but probably something filled with murders and mysteries!
